January Leopard of the Month

Timmy was chosen by his teacher to be Leopard of the Month for January. Today was his awards ceremony. Mrs. Krebs told the school about how he has such a positive attitude and how Timmy is very conscience about recycling.

I took the boys and Gee Gee to LA the other day and went to the Getty Musuem. We only stayed about two hours, but we had a wonderful time and got to see some beautiful and amazing things. Here are some pictures of what I could take before the batteries in my camara died.

Michael's 9-month Check-Up

Michael is nine months old today. I can't believe it. It seems like it was just yesterday that I had him!! He went to the doctor today and he is 19 lbs 12 oz and 28 3/4" long.

Timmy spent the night at Gee Gee and Paw Paw's and had a blast, but was happy to be home. He had the day off of school today, so he played with the cats and did all kinds of magic for them!

Michael and his new tricks....

This is Michael before he decided to tear his mobile down.

We obviously had to drop the crib down!!

Saying "Hi!" to Mommy

Santa brought him this new riding toy.....and he LOVES it!

Michael started pulling up about a week before Christmas and he hasn't stopped since. He has started cruising around and prefers to be walking than crawling. He does his own version of a crawl, but he would rather be going from table to chair to twirly jig, to the table and back.....barely holding on with one hand. I think he'll be walking soon....

Fishing Day for Timmy and Daddy

Uncle David, Jerry and Timmy ready to catch the big one.
Uncle David and Timmy

On the Saturday after Christmas, Timmy and Daddy went deep sea fishing with Uncle David and Mr. Jerry. They left really early at 4:30 am to be at the pier at 5 after picking Uncle David up and meeting Jerry. Timmy slept a little on the hour and a half trip out past the Channel Islands where they anchored the ship and fished most of the day. By the end of the day, Uncle David caught one fish, Mr. Jerry caught four, Daddy caught six and Timmy caught four. They were pretty stinky and sore when they got home, but they had a blast!!

Miss Shannon cheesing for the camara!

We had a WONDERFUL Chirstmas!!! And we hope everyone else did too! As most of you know, it is tradition in our household for everyone to get sick at Christmas time. Daddy had the stomach flu the week before Christmas and then Michael had yet another ear infection and then bronchitis and then Timmy decided he was going to get it too. But by Christmas, most everyone was okay. Michael was really sick the Friday before so he went and stayed with Gee Gee and Paw Paw for the weekend and came home Christmas Eve. When he got home, he was coughing horribly and we all ended up at Dr. Rao's the 26th. Timmy was put back on his asthma meds and Michael had to have breathing treatments every hour for a day and then prn. But both boys are doing much better and back to their normal little selves.

Christmas Eve we had everyone over for dinner. Jerry and Shannon, Devin and Haley, Uncle David and Aunt Iriany and Gee Gee and Paw Paw. We had a wonderful meal and a wonderful time with our friends and family.

Christmas Day was wonderful as well. Daddy let us sleep in this year and Sass woke us up early! Not that anyone minded! Michael was already up and we were trying to get him to let us go back to sleep. He knew Santa had been here and he was excited! Santa was really, really good to us all and we had a wonderful, wonderful day! Here are bunches of pictures.
