More Pictures from Vegas

This is from Red Rock. John and I had a wonderful lunch in Bonnie Springs. One of the pictures looks like there is smoke in the sky....it's just bird poop.

We also went to Fashion Show Mall, much to Daddy's dismay. We saw a show with Santa and his "elves" (which made up to Daddy and Timmy of having to go to the mall) and the Christmas tree was just beautiful!

Thanksgiving and our trip to Las Vegas

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Las Vegas!!! We left Camarillo the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at 3:30 am and got to Vegas about 8:45. The boys did wonderful in the car and slept until we got to Baker and then were wide eyed and bushy-tailed, excited to see Grandma and Grandpa Pellican and Uncle David and Aunt Iriany.

We made our usual trip to the Luxor to the Criss Angel store, which has been moved to a bigger and better place and across from his Production Office. We got some great pictures of Timmy there. Michael was loving it too. He sat in his stroller and looked at everything. He loved the Christmas decorations, but never bothered anything when I held him up to the Christmas tree. After our visit to the Luxor we walked over to the Excalibur and played games. Timmy one four stuffed animals and we could have stayed all night we were having so much fun!

Thanksgiving was great! We went over to Uncle David and Aunt Iriany's for dinner and they over did themselves! Aunt Iriany made the best dinner (with the help of "Assistant Cook" Uncle David)! I have never had pumpkin soup, but her's was so good! Even Timmy ate it and we all know how picky he can be sometimes! I even gave Michael some and he just ate it up! Aunt Iriany also made apple stuffing and a wonderful turkey and ham! I think I might just get her to come live with us and cook for me!

Friday Timmy went to see his dad and Aunt Joan in Summerlin. They went to the Spring Valley Preserve and he said it was so much fun and can't wait to go back! He also went backstage at the Phantom of the Opera, but didn't go see the opera itself. He got to spend some time with Ben and they really had a good time.

While Timmy with gone, Michael, Daddy and I went with Uncle David and Aunt Iriany to watch Uncle David's band practice. Michael slept through about 30 minutes of it and then sat there on the couch with Iriany and I and watched everyone. Daddy got on the guitar for a little while and played and Iriany and Michael got on the drums and played too. After a while, Iriany, Michael and I escaped to the closest Starbucks and sat and talked for about two hours. It was wonderful to have some quality "girl time"! We had a blast, getting to know each other better. David is very lucky to have a wonderful wife like her! And she is lucky to have a wonderful husband like David. We're all just a big happy family!

Saturday we went to the Fashion Show Mall with David and Iriany and watched the Santa show and looked in a lot of the stores. Then we got the boys to go see Santa. As soon as I figure out how to scan the picuter I'll put it up here.

We got home safe and sound Sunday and got back in the routine Monday. Everyone is doing great and we hope you are too!!

Now it's time to start counting down until Christmas!!!

Timmy's Birthday Party, Gee Gee and Dot's Trip and Halloween!!

Well, here are tons of pictures!! We got to have Timmy's birthday party last Sunday and we had a BEAUTIFUL fall day to have it. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and the weather was perfect. Mr. Blue was there and dressed up like a wizard and had the kid's attention from the minute he arrived. Timmy got lots of nice presents and we had a wonderful afternoon at the park.

Mom and Dot made it across the US and finally made it here on Sunday afternoon. After stories of creatures who ate small animals and prank calls from all of us, they finally made it here. We had told mom that there were gargoyles in Arizona and that she might have to sacrifice one of the cats if she drove after dark. On Saturday she kept telling us that she was in New Mexico all day and HC would call and let us know where she was. He called Saturday night and told us that they were in Needles for the night. We called the motel's front desk, who connected us to their room and John told them that there had been gargoyle sightings that evening and if they heard any scratching at the door, not to answer it.....and she believed us for a split second! She wanted to know how we knew where they were and we told her that B had put a GPS on her car and we had been tracking them the whole way. She was all upset until we told her that it was HC who was the "GPS System", but we didn't tell her that until Sunday.

On Tuesday, we went down to Beverly Hills and walked Rodeo Drive. We had a great time and went to Tiffany's and Cartier. We had lunch down there and just had a great afernoon. Dot surprised John and I that night and told us that she would watch the kids so we could have a date. We went to Sheils'a for dinner and it was so nice to have a a conversation with each other and not have the boys with us! But we sure did miss them and were only gone for about an hour and a half. We just feel lost without them!!

Halloween was great too! Miss Dot and I took the boys to the outlet mall and all the stores were handing out candy! Timmy must have gotten half a bag full in about 45 mintues. Even little Michael got a couple of pieces of candy, that mommy really enjoyed!! Then John took Timmy trick-or-treating for a couple of hours and they came home with 12 lbs of candy!

Early Thursday morning we had to say good-bye to Miss Dot. We sure do miss her and we're so glad she came out with Gee Gee and hope she had a great time!
