Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

So we took the boys to see Santa last Saturday. The problem was that Santa was in the midst of this room with tons of toys being wrapped for the needy and other kids running around, which of course got Michael excited. Needless to say, he did not want to sit still. It was about three in the afternoon and Daddy said that it looked like Santa needed the second half of a six-pack because the three beers he had for his liquid lunch were probably wearing out.

Checking out some of the Santa booty.

As we come to the close of 2008, we want to wish everyone a wonderful New Year! We had a great year and we look forward to the plans that await us in 2009. Be sure to keep up with the fun and mischief from our family and remember Michael turns two this year, which should make for some great tales and photographs. All of us plan to visit Virginia in the Spring and we look forward to the visit with all of our friends and family.
Merry Christmas from John, Jennifer, Timmy and Michael!

Channel Islands, Beach and Family Fun

Timmy's school pictures came out great this year! He is becoming a fine young man and so handsome.

Brother fun on Gigi's kitchen floor. This was earlier this summer after a day at the beach. Michael did get a little extra sun.

Michael is watching his brother.

Beautiful sunset taken last weekend at the Ventura Harbor. We went out to the Channel Islands Visitor Center and spent the day visiting the shops. Then we ate dinner at Spinakers, which had some great seafood.

Yo Ho, Yo ho! A pirates life for me!

Argh, send me your wenches!

Checking out the harbor.

Mommy showing Michael the fishes, lobsters and starfish.

Michael and his backpack/harness. He does not like to be carried for long and he does not care to be in his stroller for any extended period of time. So the harness is great! Daddy has already nominated the inventor to the Noble Peace Prize committee!

Both kids were so wound up for Halloween and this was the best picture we could get of the two of them together.
