Wow! Another great weekend!!

Today we all hung out at home, the usual Saturday routine: Cleaning, laundry and just hanging out as a family. I was talking to Sass when Maria and Joseph called. "We're taking you all out to dinner and we won't take no for an answer. We're on our way." Well, none of us had had baths yet today and if you've ever gotten two kids and mom and dad ready in 30 minutes, it can be a madhouse, but it was done!!! They took us out to eat at Buca's, this REALLY REALLY good Italian place in Thousand Oaks. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! The BEST Italian I've EVER put in my mouth. The garlic bread was to die for, as was the ceaser salad, and we had pizza and spaghetti. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed dinner!!! Then we all got this huge surprise when the waitress came back to our table with icecream and a huge candle and puts it in front of John. She announces to the entire room that it's his birthday and we all sang happy birthday to him! But his birthday is in January!! So the kids enjoyed the icecream! We went out to the water fountain and the kids played and got all wet. We get home for dessert and I made Maria take a pregnancy test because I figured something was up. She took it and IT WAS POSITIVE!!! We are SO HAPPY FOR YOU ALL!! They have two beautiful girls and maybe they'll have a baby boy this time. If not, another beautiful girl isn't bad!! Sweet Cousin Dazman!!

Aunt Iriany took this adorable picture of Cousin Dazman. He's three months older than Michael and just a joy to be around!! He loves to laugh and smile and he is a highlight to everyone's life!!

Labor Day Weekend!!!

Wow!!! It sure has been a crazy and fun weekend in this house!! Saturday night, Daddy, Timmy, Jerry and Devin went to go see the opening game at USC! They had great seats to watch the Trojans stomp Idaho's butt 38-10!! We are ranked #1 so far!! GO USC! They had such a great time and Jerry got the kids footballs for the players to sign. They may be going down to watch USC practice one weekend and get autographs from the players!

HC left for VA today. He is getting his truck and driving back across the country. He got back to Botetourt safe and sound and will be leaving out of the tomorrow.

The boys went to stay with Maria and Joseph this afternoon! Timmy got to play with Destiny and Jazmine and they had so much fun!!! They went to the park and had a picnic, baked cookies and played until their little hearts were content. Michael made sure that everything was going okay and watched every single move that was made. He can't wait to jump in and play with them next year!!

Uncle David and Aunt Iriany came in from Vegas today. Iriany's sister-in-law had her baby this morning, another sweet little boy weighing in at 7 lbs 10 oz. I can't remember the child's name right now, but I will let you know when I remember. So Uncle David and Aunt Iriany got to see how much Michael and Timmy have grown since we were out in Vegas about six weeks ago. Iriany is going to email a picture of cousin Dazman who is three months older than Michael. He's such a cutie!!!

First Day of School!!!

Today was Timmy's first day of school! Third grade! Can everyone believe it?? I'm on the PTC Board (aka PTA) and I was working with that this morning when Tim hooked up with his friends, Destiney, Savannah and Estephanie. It was time to go in and I asked him if he wanted me to walk him to his class, and he said "no, I'm a big kid". TEARS!! My baby is growing up!! He's going to do great and we're so proud of him!!!

Here's a picture of Michael. It looks like he's just doped up, but he's really asleep. He sleeps with his eyes open!! The picture doesn't give the situation justice, but I think it's just funny!!

The other picture of Timmy is pigtails is just funny. I was giving him a hard time about his hair getting so long and we all know how goofy he gets late at night. So it was late at night and he was being goofy so I put his hair in pigtails and he was running around being a goofball. I won't be doing that anymore, so don't think he's being a sissy. He LOVES girls too much!

Paw Paw is here!!!

Paw Paw got here last Wednesday afternoon. We went up to see him and ALL THE STUFF GEE GEE HAD MOVED OUT HERE. Poor Paw Paw. But hey, we finally got our furniture and our house looks like crap right now! But Daddy keeps reminding Mama that Rome wasn't built in a day and she just wants her house back....anyways, Paw Paw got here safe and sound and he got to finally meet Michael.

Michael went to the doctor last Tuesday for his four month check-up and still weighs 14.4 lbs and is 25 3/4 inches long. He's eating baby food at night and loves it, except green beans...Timmy says he needs to learn to like them because they are good for him!

Timmy had his surgery on Thursday. He is doing great and has four stitches. He had five, but he pulled one out. They took out a huge chunk of bone and sent it to the pathologist. The doctor says that the roots to his adult teeth have not formed and he may need a partial for his top teeth. We have not told him about that yet because we want to see what the doctor says after the pathologist's report.

Timmy also starts school this week! He's really excited and will be in Mrs. Krebs third grade class!! We can't believe that he will be in third grade. It seems like yesterday that we were still taking him to Lana's or to preschool! Mama also got the job of co-president of the PTC at school this year! I am really excited since I have the time now! Maria and I will be working alot together and hopefully we can do an amazing job!!

Fishing at Troutdale

We had a great weekend!! Today, Sunday, we went fishing at Troutdale in Agora Hills. It was this great little place, about the size of a small park, with two fishing ponds. One was stocked with trout and the other with Blue Gill. They give you these bamboo fishing poles and worms and you can sit there all day and fish all you want. We went over to the trout pond first, but didn't catch anything. Some guy said it was too hot for the trout. But the guy next to us caught one....well it took him about an hour to catch one. So we went over to the Blue Gill pond and caught five fish in about 10 minutes!! Timmy caught three, I caught one and Daddy caught one. Michael was over in his stroller making sure we were doing things right....oh and Michael picked up a girlfriend while we were there....Her name was Hila and she was a couple of weeks older than he is. And she's going to be a big sister too!! Her mother is already three months pregnant! Can you believe that?? LOL Anyhow, we had a great time and Timmy and Daddy had a fish fry tonight. They had a blast cooking up their fish.



Paw Paw left Virginia yesterday, being Saturday. As of 5 pm tonight, he was in Arkansas. Hopefully he'll be here by Thursday or Friday!
