Baseball, Protest and LA Fun

So Timmy had his last game during the play-offs. We are so looking forward to Fall Ball since we really miss going to his games and to his practices.

Timmy had to do a book report and make a puppet of the main character. Can you guess who his subject might be?

Yes, it is Manny Ramirez of the LA Dodgers!

Timmy at open house. Can you believe that we only have two more weeks of school? Then Timmy will be going into the fifth grade!

So, the superintendent of our school district demoted our principal for what is turning our to be political reasons. He did this at a former school district where he was removed. We decided to protest and we even made the local paper. We went into the board meeting and we are organizing to try to either help get her job back or to get Villegas recalled. We are planning more activity soon!

We went to the Griffith Observatory on Saturday. It sits high above LA in the Hollywood Hills.

What a view!
Above LA!
Enjoying the view!

Then we went to Travel Town which is on the other side of the Hollywood Hills. It is where many trains go to retire and are enjoyed by children of all ages!

Waiting to board the train.

All aboard!
