A Birthday, Baseball and a Haircut!

Timmy wanted the non-traditional 10-year old birthday. He wanted a nice evening at Buca di Pepos in Thousand Oaks. Timmy munched on the lasagne and Michael went to play in the water sprayer thingy.

Timmy had gone to stay the night at Gigi and Papa's and Mom and Dad decided to take Michael to see the sunset.

During the eleven games we have played so far in fall ball, there has only been one home run and it was by an opposing team. But las Sunday, Timmy stepped on to the plate and hit the ball so hard that he had made a home run!!! You should have heard us screaming! Then he hit a double and was walked. He did such a great job and we were so proud of him!

This is Acacia.. She works with Mommy and she cuts hair as well. Timmy loves her to cut his hair and Michael loves it too. Michael actually walks around the house calling for her and he is always asking Mommy and Daddy if Acacia can come over to cut his hair.

Pumpkin Patch

Our prayers and thoughts are with Mommy's Grandma Compton who went to be with her husband in the presence of the Lord. She passed on Friday afternoon.

Mommy went back to Virginia to be with her father and with Lisa. The boys stayed with Daddy in Camarillo.

Daddy took the boys to the pumpkin patch in the town of Ojai. Here the boys are making their way through the hay maze.

October is Baseball Month at the Pellicans!

This image should have been at the end. Timmy is playing Fall Ball. We have already played three games and through Tim's one-year career in baseball, he has never even stepped on to the pitcher's mound. It all changed on October 4! His coach asked him to take the mound at the last inning..Timmy looked as if the coach had asked him to speak in Chinese! But Timmy took the mound. Daddy said he was just as nervous for Timmy as when Mommy had gone into labor! He took the mound and was a little nervous at first..it all passed when he struck out his first batter! He did walk two batters but ended up striking out a second batter in the same inning. He did hit one batter in the head, but in daddy's opinion he was crowding the plate. So for his first time on the mound, Timmy did fantastic! Now he is looking forward to pitching in the next game!

Well our beloved Dodgers finally won the NL West! We went to see them two weeks ago and Timmy wore his Manny wig. You can only guess who he is going as for Halloween!

Dodger Baseball & USC Football Weekend!

Thursday night we went to see the LA Dodgers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks. It was a beautiful evening!

We were early and we had a chance to watch some of the practice. There was still smoke in the distant mountains due to the fires.

Timmy got his Manny Ramirez wig. You can only guess who he is going as for Halloween.. Timmy starts Fall Ball baseball next weekend and we are so excited!

On Saturday, Timmy and Daddy went to the USC football game. Mommy wasn't feeling well so she stayed home with Michael.
